1. What are the reasons you think we should hire you? Answer: professionalism. It is how we describe ourselves and what we do. We bring to your event over 10 years professional experience, professional style, professional equipment and a professional attitude.
  2. Couldn't my Ipod do what a DJ does? A professional wedding DJ invests many hours prior to your wedding in meeting, planning, preparing and consulting. On the day of your wedding, your DJ will devote as many as eight to ten hours with preparation, travel, setup, performance and teardown of equipment. Your professional DJ will be using thousands of dollars worth of equipment and relying on years of experience to insure that your reception is everything you want it to be. We also coordinate with your other vendors (cake, photographer, wedding planner, etc.) about the reception. Click here for an example of an Ipod wedding disaster.
  3. Do you also Emcee the reception? Yes at no additional charge. If you are having a relative or friend Emcee your event, we recommend purchasing "The Wedding MC" and "Wedding Toasts Made Easy" by Tom Haibeck
  4. Do you provide an event planner? Yes: click here for our wedding reception planner.
  5. Will you meet with me to go over the wedding planner? Yes
  6. Do you carry liability insurance? Yes, we cover over $1,000,000 in liability insurance. Your facility can also be added to our insurance for no additional charge.
  7. What professional organizations are you a member of? GGC Productions is a member of the American DJ Association
  8. What time do you arrive to setup your equipment? Typically, about 2 hours prior to the event
  9. Can you provide ceremony music? Yes. Before the ceremony, we will consult with you to coordinate the music.
  10. Do you provide cocktail/ dinner music? Yes
  11. Do you provide a wireless microphone for speeches? Yes
  12. Do you take requests? We would be happy to take requests and, in most cases, we do. However, our primary job is to keep the majority of your guests happy and keep the party going. We know which requests will clear the dance floor and deflate the energy or are inappropriate for a reception. We try to use our professional judgment in handling requests.
  13. Are basic effects lighting included? We use professional LED lighting for our basic lighting effects. This eliminates the need for lots of power and does not generate as much heat as halogen lights do.
  14. Do you offer lighting and sound upgrades? Yes, please email or call for information on lighting upgrades.
  15. Is a deposit required? If so, how much? Yes, 25%.
  16. When is the deposit due? Pay your deposit as soon as possible to ensure your date.
  17. May I make partial payments? Yes, at anytime before the reception.
  18. When is the final payment due? On or before the event date. Many couples prefer to pay prior to the reception to avoid the hassle of paying their vendors. It allows them the opportunity to fully enjoy their evening without the worry of who or who has not been paid.
  19. Are there overtime charges? Yes, please call or email for information
  20. Are there any additional charges not mentioned? (i.e. travel) The price is considered one package, so we do not have extra charges for travel, set-up, take-down, etc.
  21. Do you provide a written contract and guarantee? Yes, please call or email for a contract.
  22. What are the refunds/cancellation terms? The deposit is non-refundable. If you have already prepaid for the entire event and you cancel, you will be refunded the amount minus the deposit.
